Medical device locating camera in the news
The headine isn't exactly as I would describe it, but wide press attention for the medical device locating camera. Nice to get the coverage: Nice piece on the BBC website (and many others). https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-edinburgh-east-fife-41140654 Few radio interviews (Radio4, World Service). BBC TV. Physics world gives a fuller solid article. https://physicsworld.com/a/single-photons-pinpoint-objects-inside-living-tissue/ and more below. Now back …

Our new way to locate medical devices deep inside tissue just published in BOE. We're very excited about this. https://www.osapublishing.org/boe/abstract.cfm?uri=boe-8-9-4077
Investigating the limiting factors in endoscopic imaging with coherent fibre bundles in Optics Express
Investigating the limiting factors in endoscopic imaging with coherent fibre bundles. Important work, thoroughly done. Nice work Helen and Antonios. https://www.osapublishing.org/oe/abstract.cfm?uri=oe-25-10-11932
MicroMars
Measuring pH deep in the distal lung with a novel probe – out now in BOE
Adi and I are very happy to get this out there, we think it's pretty neat..... https://www.osapublishing.org/boe/abstract.cfm?uri=boe-8-1-243
Fibre Light
Light from a fibre Fibre Interference Intereference pattern of blue laser light from multiple cores of a bespoke optical fibre. Each core has been acid etched, forming a concave pit. Each concave pit acts somewhat like a lens. The far end of the fibre is illuminated with a laser source over multiple cores. The …
